LEAs and public charter schools may authorize K-2 teachers to use Tennessee universal reading screener results or state board-approved reading screener results as an alternative growth model for teacher evaluations

Pre-kindergarten teachers whose students receive a state board-approved universal reading screener must be allowed to use those results as an alternative growth model or use the pre-k/kindergarten portfolio growth model for evaluation purposes

Deletes existing subsections (g) and (h) from Tennessee Code Section 49-6-105

Effective date is July 1, 2025
