Restrictions on employees or contractors practicing their profession after employment or contract termination are declared void and unenforceable in Tennessee, with one exception for provisions under § 63-6-204(f)(2)

Deletes existing Section 63-1-148 from Tennessee Code Annotated, which previously governed covenants not to compete

Removes references to the deleted non-compete statute from multiple sections of law governing medical and healthcare facility licensing (Sections 63-6-204 and 68-11-205)

Effective date is July 1, 2025, applying only to contracts entered into or amended on or after that date
