Establishes the "Freedom to Read Act" requiring school library and classroom materials be age-appropriate and serve students' educational interests

Prohibits excluding or removing materials from school libraries based on the creator's origin, background, or views, or due to partisan, ideological, or religious disapproval

Requires local school boards and public charter schools to adopt policies for developing and reviewing library collections, including procedures for receiving feedback from students, parents, and employees

Materials under review must remain available in the library collection until the review is complete and a determination is made on age-appropriateness

Takes effect July 1, 2025
