Local boards of education must establish school lunch and breakfast programs providing free meals to all students eligible for free or reduced-price meals

State will reimburse LEAs for the cost of providing free breakfast and lunch to reduced-price eligible students, subject to available funding and after federal funds are applied

Federal funding sources include the National School Lunch Act (42 U.S.C. § 1751) and the Child Nutrition Act of 1966 (42 U.S.C. § 1771)

Eligibility language updated to reference household income meeting federal free/reduced-price lunch requirements under 42 U.S.C. § 1758
