Parents of students in school choice programs must ensure their children take annual TCAP tests matching their grade level, the grade 11 state examination, and three universal reading screeners per year for grades K-3

Students with disabilities who would qualify for alternate assessments under their IEP are exempt from these testing requirements

Participating schools must publish lesson plans, syllabi, academic standards, and a complete list of library materials (including books, films, video games, and digital content) on their website

All educators at participating schools must hold a valid Tennessee public school teaching license issued by the state board of education
