Mandates procedures for teachers and parents to review and refer classroom library materials for evaluation, with multiple opportunities throughout the year for parents to view books

Prohibits teachers from knowingly circumventing library policies by including materials in classroom libraries that have been found inappropriate for students' age/maturity levels or inconsistent with the school's educational mission

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
