Prohibits state boards and commissions from excluding members or discriminating based on race, color, ethnicity, or national origin, and bars race-based composition policies including affirmative action, racial preferences, or quotas

Establishes a private cause of action allowing individuals to sue boards that violate these anti-discrimination provisions

Removes existing statutory requirements from over 40 state licensing boards and commissions that the governor ensure at least one member is a racial minority

Eliminates the requirement for the Board of Medical Examiners to include one African-American member, retaining only the requirement for one female member

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law; passed April 7, 2025 and signed by Governor Bill Lee on April 24, 2025
