TN HB1353

Expands protections against interference with the judicial process by criminalizing harm or threats against individuals involved in judicial proceedings or their family members when done to impede, intimidate, interfere with, or retaliate against their participation

Defines "family member" to include spouse, parent, grandparent, stepparent, child, grandchild, stepchild, sibling, half-sibling, or spouse's parents

Extends protections to a broad list of judicial personnel including judges, district attorneys, assistant district attorneys, law enforcement officers, clerks, jurors, public defenders, and employees of these offices (both current and former)

Takes effect July 1, 2025
