Modifies drug court eligibility by changing the disqualifying offense provision from "an offense" to "a felony offense within the previous ten (10) years"

Removes subdivision (4)(A)(iii) from the drug court statute, eliminating one of the existing eligibility restrictions

Expands access to drug court programs by narrowing the criminal history exclusions that prevent participation

Effective date of July 1, 2026
