Authorizes professional bondsmen, persons with "bailable interest" (defendant, spouse, parent, child, sibling, legal guardian, or employer), or any other person to deposit cash bail with the court clerk

Creates civil liability for third-party bail depositors (excluding professional bondsmen and those with bailable interest) if the defendant commits a new crime while released on that bail

Victims of crimes committed by defendants released on third-party bail may sue the bail depositor for property damage, injury, or death resulting from the subsequent offense

Effective July 1, 2026, applying to causes of action arising on or after that date
