Creates the "Military Families Licensing Recognition Act" requiring Tennessee licensing boards to issue occupational licenses to active/retired military members and their spouses or dependents who hold equivalent licenses from other states or the military

Applicants must have held their out-of-state license in good standing for at least 1 year, or alternatively have worked in the occupation for at least 3 years

Licensing boards must issue licenses within 10 business days of receiving a complete application; applicants must pay applicable fees and attest under penalty of perjury to meeting eligibility requirements

Disqualifies applicants with criminal records that would bar licensure under Tennessee law, or those whose licenses were revoked or surrendered due to negligence or intentional misconduct

Takes effect July 1, 2026
