Known as "The Frank J. Lake III Act," requires the Health Facilities Commission to post public notices on its website when assisted-care living facilities are under investigation (30-day fact-finding period) or placed on probation

Posted notices must state that disciplinary action is pending and does not constitute an admission of deficiency by the facility

Requires long-term care ombudsmen contacted by an assisted-care living facility to notify each resident or their guardian, conservator, or representative

Assisted-care living facilities must provide prospective residents (or their guardians/representatives) with a written website link to the facility's current licensure status and disciplinary history prior to admission or contract execution

Effective July 1, 2026
