Local governments that prohibit class 1 or class 2 electric bicycles on bicycle paths, trails, public parks, or greenways they own or operate may submit their ordinance or resolution to the Tennessee Department of Safety.

The Department of Safety may compile and publish on its website a list of public parks and greenways where class 1 or class 2 electric bicycles are prohibited by local governments.

Amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 55-8-306 by adding a new subsection (c).

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
