Permanently disqualifies individuals from holding public office if convicted of an infamous crime committed in their official capacity or involving duties of their office, even if citizenship is later restored

Permanently bars individuals from holding public office if their citizenship restoration came through a presidential pardon

Expands pension forfeiture provisions for public employees and officials convicted of felonies by removing the requirement that the crime must have arisen from their employment or constituted "malfeasance in office"

Applies to felony convictions occurring on or after July 1, 2026
