Creates new criminal offense of "coercive suicide" for intentionally advising or encouraging someone to commit suicide when the person knows the individual has communicated suicidal intent

Holds owners of artificial intelligence systems criminally liable if their AI advises or encourages suicide to a user who expressed suicidal intent, and the owner knew or should have known the AI could take such action

Defines "artificial intelligence" broadly to include machine-based systems that make predictions/decisions, learn from data, or solve tasks requiring human-like cognition, including generative AI that creates text, images, audio, or video

Classifies violations as a Class D felony

Takes effect July 1, 2026, applying to offenses committed on or after that date
