Amends Tennessee Code Section 40-11-141 governing bail revocation procedures for defendants released on personal recognizance, unsecured bonds, or other court-approved bonds

Courts may temporarily revoke bond and hold defendants without bail for up to 10 days pending a hearing if they violate release conditions, are charged with a new offense while released, or obstruct court proceedings

Requires filing of a written order and notice of hearing before temporary bond revocation can occur

Following a bail revocation hearing, courts may permanently revoke bond and hold defendants without bail pending trial or during trial if a violation is found

Effective date: July 1, 2026
