Speakers of the Senate and House of Representatives gain authority to determine the number of conferences or conference days for which legislators may receive expense and mileage allowances

Conference attendance limits must be equal for members of both the Senate and House of Representatives

"Conference" is defined broadly to include symposiums, workshops, assemblages, gatherings, or other official meetings related to state business and legislative duties, whether held in-state or out-of-state
