Increases the purchase limit for pseudoephedrine and ephedrine products from 43.2 grams to 61.2 grams

Removes the requirement for pharmacists to counsel customers about their reasons for purchasing pseudoephedrine/ephedrine products and the authority to decline sales

Replaces references to "NPLEx" with generic "electronic sales tracking system" terminology throughout the statute, allowing flexibility in which tracking system the state uses

Requires manufacturers of ephedrine or pseudoephedrine products sold in Tennessee to pay monthly fees to the tracking system administrator beginning January 1, 2027, with annual fee increases capped at 10% unless cost-justified

Takes effect July 1, 2026
