Creates a rebuttable presumption that the Tennessee Board of Nursing must deny or refuse to renew a nursing license if the applicant was convicted within the last 5 years of DUI, vehicular assault, aggravated vehicular assault, vehicular homicide, or aggravated vehicular homicide (including equivalent out-of-state offenses)

Presumption applies only when the offense involved a blood/breath alcohol concentration at least twice the legal limit AND another person was injured during the offense

Requires the board to provide written findings explaining its reasoning if it approves or renews a license for an applicant meeting these criteria

Applies to all licenses, registrations, certifications, or authorizations issued by the Board of Nursing for professional nursing practice

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
