Amends Tennessee Code Annotated Section 49-7-170 to expand confidentiality protections for intercollegiate athletics records at public higher education institutions, overriding existing public records law (§ 10-7-504)

Records related to game or player integrity that are traditionally kept private to maintain athletic competitiveness are exempt from public inspection

Commercial contracts entered into solely for intercollegiate athletics programs are confidential if disclosure could affect a business's economic advantage over competitors

Limits private causes of action under this section to businesses claiming disclosure would undermine their competitive economic advantage

The commercial contracts confidentiality provision (subdivision (a)(2)) automatically sunsets on July 1, 2033; takes effect immediately upon becoming law
