Prohibits distributing AI-generated "electoral deepfakes" depicting candidates or political parties within 90 days of an election if intended to deceive voters or injure reputations

Requires disclosure stating "This [image/video/audio] has been manipulated or generated by artificial intelligence" to avoid the prohibition; video disclosures must appear for the full duration, audio disclosures must play at beginning, end, and every 2 minutes

Civil penalties range from $1,000 for standard violations, $5,000 for violations intended to cause violence or bodily harm, and up to $10,000 for repeat violations within 5 years

Exempts news organizations that acknowledge authenticity questions, broadcasters making good faith verification efforts, and content that constitutes satire or parody

Candidates and political parties depicted in violating deepfakes may seek injunctive relief to prohibit publication
