Allows individuals to proceed pro se (without an attorney) in probate matters when the estate consists solely of life insurance policies totaling $15,000 or less intended for burial, funeral, or final expenses

Persons filing small estate affidavits or limited letters of authority under these circumstances are considered to be acting in an individual capacity, not as a fiduciary or representative

Requires court clerks to provide a standardized form for eligible filers that also serves as proof of death for small insurance policies under § 56-7-206

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
