Requires POST-certified or state-commissioned law enforcement officers to mail traffic violation notices or citations to the registered owner of an autonomous vehicle within 20 business days of the offense

Allows registered owners 30 days to pay the fine, with no additional penalties unless a second notice is sent providing another 30 days for payment

Notices must state the fine amount and separately list any additional fees or court costs that may apply for late payment or contested violations

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
