Creates the office of County Highway Supervisor in Weakley County as the chief administrative officer responsible for building and maintaining county roads, highways, and bridges

County Highway Supervisor will be elected by qualified voters starting in August 2026 and every four years thereafter; current supervisor continues until term expires

Candidates must be U.S. citizens, Tennessee and Weakley County residents for at least 2 years, at least 25 years old, and hold a minimum of a high school diploma or GED

Qualification options include: engineering degree with 2 years highway experience or Tennessee engineering license; 4 years supervisory experience in highway construction/maintenance; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Requires approval by two-thirds vote of the Weakley County legislative body before taking effect
