Creates a centralized immigration enforcement division within the Department of Safety, headed by a governor-appointed chief immigration enforcement officer responsible for coordinating state and local collaboration with federal immigration agencies and the 287(g) program

Establishes an immigration enforcement grant program effective July 1, 2025, to fund local governments and law enforcement agencies that enter into 287(g) agreements with federal authorities for immigration enforcement activities, training, and equipment

Makes it a Class E felony for state or local officials to adopt or maintain sanctuary policies, with convicted officials subject to removal from office by the attorney general

Restricts standard Tennessee driver licenses and photo IDs to U.S. citizens only, effective January 1, 2026; lawful permanent residents and those with authorized stays may receive temporary licenses with visually distinctive markers that cannot be used for voting

Key provisions creating the immigration enforcement division and grant program expire on January 20, 2029, unless reauthorized by the general assembly
