Directs the Tennessee Department of Health, Board of Nursing, and Board of Medical Examiners to conduct a comprehensive study on anesthesia workforce and staffing across all facilities providing anesthesia services in the state.

Study must assess the number and distribution of physician anesthesiologists and certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs), evaluate education and training infrastructure, and identify barriers to recruitment and retention.

Key factors to be examined include reimbursement, staffing models, resource allocation, outpatient trends, provider burnout/fatigue, aging populations, workplace environment, and facility location.

Stakeholder input required from the Tennessee Society of Anesthesiologists, Tennessee Association of Nurse Anesthetists, Rural Health Association of Tennessee, Tennessee Hospital Association, and Tennessee Center for Health Workforce Development.

Findings and policy recommendations must be reported to relevant legislative committees by January 31, 2026.
