Mose and Garrison Siskin expanded the business in 1926 to sell new steel; they also established the Siskin Children's Institute (1950) and Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation (1990)

Siskin Steel was acquired by Reliance, Inc. in 1996 and expanded to Nashville, Louisville (Kentucky), and Spartanburg (South Carolina)

Company currently offers alloy, aluminum, carbon steel, and stainless steel products along with metal processing services under President Dan Youngman
