Designates March 2026 as Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) Month in Tennessee

Recognizes the Chattanooga, Knoxville, and Nashville chapters of the Association of Government Accountants (AGA), which collectively have approximately 596 members representing state, federal, municipal, and private-sector financial professionals

Acknowledges the CGFM certification program requirements: appropriate educational and employment history, adherence to AGA's Code of Ethics, and passing three examinations covering governmental environment, financial management, accounting, and budgeting

CGFM professionals must complete at least 80 hours of continuing professional education every two years to maintain certification
