Proposes amending Article VI, Section 4 of the Tennessee Constitution to modify residency requirements for judges of circuit and district courts.

Changes the one-year local residency requirement from residing in "the circuit or district" to residing in "a county of the respective circuit or district" to which the judge will be assigned.

Maintains existing requirements that judges must be at least 30 years old and have been a Tennessee resident for five years before election.

Refers the proposed constitutional amendment to the 115th General Assembly for consideration, as required by the amendment process.

Directs the Secretary of State to publish the proposed amendment on official state websites in accordance with constitutional requirements.
