Celebrates the 80th anniversary of the Tennessee Wildlife Federation, founded February 12, 1946, as the Tennessee Conservation League at Chattanooga's Read House Hotel

Organization was established by outdoor writers, sportsmen, and community leaders in response to dwindling wildlife populations and declining natural resources

Federation credited with restoring healthy populations of deer, turkey, elk, and other game and non-game species through policy efforts, wildlife management, and habitat conservation

Operates outreach programs including Hunters for the Hungry (provides free venison to hunger relief organizations), Scholastic Clay Target Program (youth firearms safety and competition), and Hunting and Fishing Academy
