Honors the memory of Tracy George Trott of Elizabethton, who served 40 years with the Tennessee Highway Patrol (1978-2018), rising from Road Trooper to Colonel (commanding officer) in September 2010

Trott earned three degrees from East Tennessee State University, where he began his law enforcement career as a campus police officer in 1976, and also graduated from the Northwestern School of Police Staff and Command and FBI National Executive Institute

ETSU recognized Trott as Distinguished Major in Law Enforcement (1976), Distinguished Graduate Student (1994), and Outstanding Alumni (2017)

Trott was a 40-year member of First Christian Church in Elizabethton, serving as deacon and elder, and founded a law enforcement consulting business after retirement

Expresses sympathy and condolences to his surviving family, including wife Meredith, son Joey, daughter Laura, and grandson Henry
