Tennessee General Assembly honors Darrell Collins for his induction into the Clay County Sports Hall of Fame

Collins played baseball and football for two years at Celina High School before an injury ended his athletic career

Became known as the "Voice of the Bulldogs" serving as full-time public address announcer for Celina High School football and basketball games, and was hired for district and region basketball tournaments

Coached multiple youth sports teams in Clay County including Little League baseball (State Farm Reds), Babe Ruth baseball (Celina Rebels), and AAU girls' basketball (Lady Rockets), and co-founded the youth football league

Resolution directs that an appropriate copy be prepared for presentation to Collins
