Recognizes three recipients of the Tennessee Black Caucus of State Legislators Living Legend Award: Reverend Ann Jones-Pierre, Dr. Carolyn Baldwin Tucker, and Representative Johnny Shaw

Reverend Ann Jones-Pierre has served in ministry for four decades, retired as a senior finance manager from the Tennessee Valley Authority, served 13 years as CEO of Church Koinonia Federal Credit Union, and currently serves as president of the Chattanooga Branch of the NAACP

Dr. Carolyn Baldwin Tucker worked 30 years with Metro Nashville Public Schools as teacher, principal, and elementary schools director, and served as Director of Graduate Studies in Education at Lipscomb University and as a Nashville Metro Council member

Representative Johnny Shaw has represented House District 80 (Hardeman and Madison counties) since January 2001, previously served as Madison County Commissioner, and founded Shaw Broadcasting Company and WOJG-FM in Bolivar in 1992

Directs that copies of the resolution be prepared for presentation to the honorees
