Tennessee House Resolution 167 honors and commends The Links, Incorporated, an international nonprofit organization of more than 17,000 professional women of color operating through 302 chapters in 41 states and internationally.

The organization contributes over one million documented hours of community service annually and has made $1 million contributions to the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, United Negro College Fund, and St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis.

Ten Tennessee chapters will participate in The Links Day on Capitol Hill on March 9-10, 2026, to meet with legislators about bills affecting their communities.

The resolution recognizes the organization's mission to enrich and sustain the cultural and economic survival of African Americans and persons of African descent through initiatives in arts, youth services, and advocacy.
