Adds a "Political Party Affiliation" field to Tennessee's permanent voter registration records

Allows voters to designate affiliation with a qualified political party or choose "Unaffiliated" during initial registration or the registration period

Voters who fail or refuse to make a designation will automatically be recorded as unaffiliated

Requires first-time primary voters to declare allegiance to the party whose primary they wish to vote in, with that declaration recorded on their permanent registration record

Takes effect July 1, 2025
