District attorneys general must report to state officials within 24 hours whenever they enter plea agreements, reduce charges, or dismiss felony cases originating from Operation Viper or the Memphis Safe Task Force

Reports must be submitted to the attorney general and reporter, both speakers of the legislature, the district attorneys general conference, and the relevant U.S. attorney

Operation Viper is defined as an FBI-led task force combining federal, state, and local law enforcement to combat crime using federal and state resources

Memphis Safe Task Force is defined as a federal task force focused on reducing street and violent crime in Memphis through aggressive policing, prosecution, and neighborhood saturation with law enforcement

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
