Restricts who may post bail for defendants to: the defendant themselves, family members (within third degree of relation or household members), legal guardians, employers, or licensed professional bondsmen

Requires any other entity seeking to post bail to obtain approval under § 40-11-123 for each individual bond

Limits non-exempt entities to posting security for no more than 3 defendants per calendar year, and only once per year for any single defendant

Changes terminology in § 39-11-715 from "bonding agent" to "proposed surety"

Takes effect July 1, 2026
