Creates the "Caring for Caregivers Act" establishing a pilot grant program from July 1, 2026 through December 31, 2029 to provide financial assistance to family caregivers of individuals with Alzheimer's disease or related dementia in each of Tennessee's three grand divisions.

Grants are capped at $6,000 per family caregiver per fiscal year to offset eligible expenses including home modifications, medical equipment, durable medical equipment, assistive technology, and respite care.

Eligible caregivers must have adjusted income at or below area or state median income (whichever is greater); priority is given first to very low income households, then to low income households.

Eligible family members must be diagnosed with Alzheimer's or related dementia, require assistance with at least two activities of daily living, live in a private residence (not assisted living or nursing facility), and be related to the caregiver by blood or marriage.

Establishes a family caregiver grant fund within the general fund with an intended initial appropriation of $600,000 for fiscal year 2026-2027; requires annual reporting to legislative health committees beginning October 1, 2027.
