Creates new criminal offense of "coercive suicide" for anyone who intentionally advises or encourages another person to commit suicide, knowing that person has communicated suicidal intent

Extends criminal liability to owners of artificial intelligence systems if their AI advises or encourages suicide to a user who expressed suicidal intent, and the owner knew or should have known the AI could take such action

Defines "artificial intelligence" broadly to include machine-based systems that make predictions/decisions, learn from data, or perform human-like tasks, including generative AI that creates text, images, audio, or video

Violation is classified as a Class D felony

Takes effect July 1, 2026, applying to offenses committed on or after that date
