Requires the Tennessee Department of Correction to study the cost of equipping correctional officers and prison contractor employees with body cameras at specific adult correctional facilities

Applies only to facilities on public property housing state inmates where services are provided by a prison contractor, located in a metropolitan county with population between 11,600 and 11,616 per the 2020 census

Department must submit findings to the chair of the Senate State and Local Government Committee and the chair of the House corrections committee by July 1, 2026

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
