Persons ordered to use an ignition interlock device must provide documentation to the device provider and court clerk showing they qualify for or receive funds from specified indigency sources

Individuals must also sign an authorization allowing the state treasurer to verify their eligibility through state or federal agencies

Ignition interlock device providers must submit indigency documentation to the state treasurer; providers of alternative monitoring devices must submit affidavits of indigency to local governments

State treasurer is authorized to enter memoranda of understanding with state agencies to verify fund eligibility, and those agencies must cooperate with information exchange

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
