Requires all Tennessee LEAs and public charter schools to provide age- and grade-appropriate instruction on the history of communism beginning in the 2026-2027 school year

Mandates curriculum cover six specific topics: domestic communist movements and tactics, atrocities under communist regimes, comparison of communism/totalitarianism with U.S. founding principles, 20th century communist threats including China's Cultural Revolution, events preceding communist revolutions, and Cuban communism and its spread in Latin America

Directs the Tennessee Department of Education to develop guidance for schools, with authority to seek input from victims of communism or recognized organizations dedicated to victims of communism

Takes effect immediately for developing guidance; instruction requirements take effect July 1, 2026
