Creates a private right to sue healthcare professionals for injuries resulting from gender transition-related medical procedures, including surgeries, puberty blockers, and hormone treatments

Applies to individuals who consented (or whose parents consented on their behalf as minors) due to alleged coercion by the healthcare professional

Allows recovery of compensatory damages, punitive damages, and reasonable attorney fees, court costs, and expenses

Establishes an 18-year statute of limitations for procedures occurring after the act's effective date, running from either the procedure date or when the injury was first discovered

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
