Law enforcement agencies must submit quarterly reports to the state's centralized immigration enforcement division and federal officials on illegal activities, gang activities, and immigration law violations by persons not lawfully present, including arrests and detentions.

Local governments must report to the immigration enforcement division any civil penalty violations and public benefit receipts by individuals who are not U.S. citizens or qualified aliens.

Law enforcement must report non-citizens and non-qualified aliens who are charged or convicted of criminal offenses to the centralized immigration enforcement division.

Department of Finance and Administration must report annually to the governor and legislative leaders, starting December 31, 2026, on state costs for public schools, higher education, prisons, hospitals, and social services provided to persons not lawfully present.

Employees or officials who fail to comply with reporting requirements commit a Class A misdemeanor; the act takes effect July 1, 2026.
