Prohibits school library materials from being removed while under active review by a local board of education, public charter school governing body, or the state textbook and instructional materials quality commission

Requires materials to remain in library collections until a final determination is made on whether to remove them

Applies to both traditional public schools and public charter schools in Tennessee

Effective date: July 1, 2026
