TN SB2327

Creates a new criminal offense of "interfering with a religious institution" for intentionally obstructing, disturbing, or interfering with religious activities through utterances, gestures, or displays offensive to an ordinary person's sensibilities

Applies to conduct within the place of worship or near enough to disturb the order and solemnity of activities

Defines "religious institution" as churches, temples, synagogues, mosques, or other places of worship

Classifies violations as a Class B misdemeanor

Takes effect July 1, 2026
