Prohibits "prohibited foreign-party-controlled businesses" and "prohibited foreign parties" from acquiring any interest in non-agricultural land in Tennessee by grant, purchase, devise, descent, or other means

Requires violators to divest their non-agricultural land interests within 2 years of being found in violation; the attorney general may take legal action if divestiture does not occur

Violations constitute a Class A misdemeanor punishable by a fine up to $1,500, confinement up to 11 months and 29 days, or both

Mandates registration with the secretary of state within 60 days for prohibited foreign parties holding non-agricultural land interests on or after January 1, 2025, with civil penalties up to $2,000 for failure to register

Takes effect July 1, 2026
