Creates a State Family Advisory Board composed of 9 members who must all be family members of individuals currently incarcerated in Tennessee, with 3 members appointed each by the governor, speaker of the senate, and speaker of the house

Board responsibilities include fostering communication between the Department of Correction and families, strengthening family reunification efforts, supporting reentry, and providing feedback on department activities

Members serve staggered 3-year terms with initial terms expiring January 1, 2028, 2029, and 2030; each appointing authority must appoint one member from each of Tennessee's three grand divisions

Board must meet at least monthly and hold at least 3 public informational meetings annually in different grand divisions; members serve without compensation but receive travel reimbursement
