Officially recognizes January 2025 as Human Trafficking Awareness Month in Tennessee

Defines human trafficking as recruitment, manipulation, purchasing, or obtaining persons for commercial sex acts or forced labor through force, fraud, deception, or coercion

Identifies vulnerable populations including children, child abuse survivors, runaway and homeless youth, domestic violence victims, and individuals with substance use disorders

Acknowledges existing state efforts including the Tennessee Businesses Against Trafficking Program (Secretary of State) and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's annual trafficking report requirement

Promotes education, awareness, and community efforts to identify trafficking, support survivors, prevent exploitation, and hold perpetrators accountable
