Designates January 2026 as Human Trafficking Awareness Month in Tennessee

Defines human trafficking as recruitment or obtaining of persons for commercial sex acts or forced labor through force, fraud, deception, or coercion

Identifies vulnerable populations including children, child abuse survivors, runaway and homeless youth, domestic violence victims, and individuals with substance use disorders

Acknowledges Tennessee's existing anti-trafficking efforts, including the Secretary of State's Tennessee Businesses Against Trafficking Program and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's required annual reporting on trafficking crimes

Promotes education and community efforts to identify trafficking, support survivors, prevent exploitation, and hold perpetrators accountable
